Nutmeg was once hailed as “worth its weight in gold” and sadly it’s not the case anymore. However, it is now one of the must-have spices for those who love baking. Its flavour notes are very similar to mace; warm, woody, spicy with hints of pine and clove that you only can get from real nutmeg. Our nutmeg is straight from Kandy, Sri Lanka where the climate is just perfect for them. We kept the hard shell so that it will stay fresher for longer.
